Yoga In Depth — 200 Hour Hatha Vinyasa
Yoga Teacher Training
August 9th - October 25th 2026
Part-time, In-Person
Enrol now for 2026
Yoga in Depth is for anyone who feels called to explore yoga beyond the mat. Whether your intention is to teach or to simply dive deeper into your practice, we are here for you.
Expect to be supported, challenged, and changed.
Nothing makes you grow like a yoga teacher training.
With thousands of combined hours of training, and over 20 years teaching, we have put together the type of teacher training we wish we had when we began.
The type that grows confident teachers, honours the truth of the practice (or rather the many truths), and fosters continuing curiosity for you to keep growing and evolving with dedication and honesty.
Because this practice has so much to offer, and all you need to do is be open, curious and keep showing up.
We aren’t here to give you all the answers; we certainly don’t claim to have them all.
Instead we’re here to walk beside you, and together we learn, grow and watch as your curiosity takes you deeper.
We hand you the map, where it takes you is up to you.
Held in-person and part time, in nipaluna/Hobart at Folde Yoga School.

Why choose Yoga in Depth?
Taught through a critical lens
Our training approaches both anatomy and philosophy with discernment and inquiry. Rather than blindly following tradition for tradition’s sake, we explore where teachings come from, how they have evolved, and how they can be applied responsibly in contemporary practice.
Ethics, responsibility, and social justice
We place strong emphasis on ethics and the social, cultural, and political contexts of yoga. This includes examining power, appropriation, accessibility, and what it truly means to teach yoga in the West today.
Two lead trainers, shared passion
With two lead trainers, the training is shaped by what we are genuinely passionate about, and it shows. Our different strengths, interests, and lived experiences enrich the learning environment and offer students a broader, more nuanced perspective.
Current, evolving knowledge
What we thought we knew about certain poses, bodies, and practices 10 years ago may no longer hold true. Yoga in Depth draws on current research and updated sources, informed by experts across anatomy, philosophy, and movement science.
Moving beyond the guru–disciple model
We intentionally step away from hierarchical teaching structures and instead cultivate a circular, shared learning space. Knowledge is exchanged, explored, and questioned together, fostering agency, confidence, and discernment.
Learning from respected guest teachers
Alongside the two lead trainers, we intentionally invite guest teachers who are deeply experienced and recognised in their fields. These teachers are brought in to complement and extend what we offer, adding depth, diversity, and specialised knowledge where it matters. Rather than trying to be everything, we believe in drawing on collective wisdom, ensuring you learn from people who are genuinely immersed in the areas they teach, and strengthening the training as a whole.
Small group learning
A smaller cohort allows for depth, intimacy, and precision. You’ll receive more one-on-one time, personalised feedback, and mentoring that supports your individual growth.
Fully in-person and spacious
This training is entirely in-person, offering embodied learning and real connection. The part-time format allows teachings to land gradually, giving you time to integrate, practise, and absorb without overwhelm.
Ongoing support beyond graduation
Learning doesn’t end when the training does. Graduates receive continued support and mentoring through community classes, feedback, and connection with Claire and Hayley.
Find your own teaching voice
Rather than replicating someone else’s style, Yoga in Depth supports you to uncover and trust your own unique way of teaching, grounded in integrity, clarity, and authenticity.
