An advanced training with Gwyn Williams and Simon Park, blending Liquid Flow Yoga, Zenthai, nature, and philosophy. This immersive training invites you to explore the poetry of effortless effort — sustaining stillness within movement.

Sharing their respective art forms for over 25 years, both Gwyn and Simon are passionate about an alive, spontaneous, and creative expression that reminds us of the myriad of profound connections we can participate in.

This training is designed for those with prior experience in yoga and/or bodywork.

“Softness triumphs over hardness, feebleness over strength. What is more malleable is always superior to that which is immovable. That is the principle of controlling things by going along with them, of mastery through adaptation.”
— Lao Tzu

Welcome all, we hope the above quote inspires you, as it will be the foundation for the week we spend together.

It is not only about realising the practice of soft overcoming strong, of relaxing before you force - but also living it.

Over the years, I have noticed that my most powerful bodywork sessions on the mat were those when it appeared not much happened. Something undefined was moving me in the direction of freedom, and this not only kept me calm and centred but also provided a state of pristine vitality.

Equally, it is well known that the grandmaster of Aikido stated he was doing his best practice after 70 years of age.

Why, you may ask? He had no muscle left. No way to force.

It was spiralling, instinctual, effortless, intelligent — and extremely powerful.

Two years ago, my wife Gaia completed a 2.5-hour yoga class with Simon in Europe. Gaia is not a regular asana practitioner; she is more passionate about finding alignment through Bhakti and consultation with the stars.

However, Simon had her in asana positions I had never witnessed before.

“Did that just happen?” she asked me with a radiant glow.

“It felt like half an hour.”

When you are in the flow, everything is timeless and everything is possible.

We encourage you to keep inviting this state - again and again - over the next week together.

And then maybe, it will be the way you live your life.

Like a river.

“Sometimes disengaging is the best way to engage.”
— Rick Rubin

The key is not to finally get it. I remind myself and my students: the key is to notice when you waver and come back to your centre.

“Flow with whatever may happen and let your mind be free.
Stay centred by accepting whatever you are doing.
This is the ultimate.”

— Chuang Tzu

Simon Park

Simon began his Yoga journey in 1995 with Shiva Rea in the World Arts and Cultures Department at UCLA. Soon thereafter, he became immersed in the great atmosphere of the original YogaWorks studios in Santa Monica where he completed his first teacher training with Maty Ezraty in 1998.

Simon moved back to the East Coast (Philadelphia and New York) and studied intensively with senior Iyengar Teacher Joan White and the legendary yogi Dharma Mittra. Yoga Journal acclaimed Simon as, "one of the most influential and gifted Yoga teachers of the next generation.” His unique style is an alchemical fusion of the teachings of Shiva Rea, Richard Freeman, Maty Ezraty, Joan White, and Dharma Mitra. Liquid Flow Yoga is a mix of classical and modern Yoga.

The practice is fluid, intuitive, and encourages freedom through self expression. Nicknamed the "Flying Nomad" by Shiva Rea, he draws inspiration from road legends such as Keith Richards and Jimi Hendrix who aptly stated, "the Earth is my Home.” Simon is currently based in Munich, Germany and leads trainings, retreats and workshops worldwide.

Gwyn Williams

Gwyn began his first steps into the foundation of the Zenthai artform in his teenage years with a fascination and complete absorption with life force energy (Ki). A self confessed life force fanatic,  his earlier years involved in using the  life force to fight and compete. As a serious martial artist and later a competitive mountain runner, the focus was on expending Ki, however when he later moved into alternative therapies and yoga in 1997, he realised that the real focus needed to be on sustaining and containing life force to utilise its full power. This has carried through to the present day sharing the importance of embracing a Yin and Yang aspect in daily life.

Gwyn has been teaching his entire adult life. Earlier as a physical education teacher, martial arts instructor and later as a yoga teacher and Zenthai facilitator. His passion for alternative therapies and connecting his heart with his hands led to him teaching Zen Shiatsu at his created Mt. Ninderry Healing Centre in 1999. Since this initial class he has become a national and international teacher of his own form of bodywork/movement and awareness.
